Hextable Village Pre-school Mission

Our aim is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age in a parent-involving, community based, committee-run group.
To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment and to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

General Information

We open five days a week for morning and afternoon sessions: 9:00-12:00 and 12:00-3:00.

We accept children from the age of 2 with funding available from the age of 3 as per government guidelines. There may also be funding for those children eligible for the Free-for-Two scheme (please contact your local Children's Centre).

We offer snacks mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

For children attending all day, or afternoon sessions, you need to supply a packed lunch which they eat at 12.10. We do request that you provide a healthy lunch, avoiding nuts, chocolate and sweets.

Our pre-school offers your child:

  • A specially tailored curriculum working through the Early Years Foundation Stage towards the early learning goals.
  • Individual care and attention made possible by a high ratio of adults to children as well as the support of a personal key worker.
  • Fun and friendship with children and other adults.
  • Opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the group and your child's progress.

We adhere to the Early Years Alliance Constitution 2011.
